It's Time to Re-Up!
Life gets loud, and eventually, everyone runs on empty. We know the feeling, which is exactly why we created The Re-Up Retreat. This isn't just a bare-bones vacation rental-this is our personal home away from home. Our cabin is designed to be the ultimate transition from your stressful daily grind to Re-Up on what matters.
- The Vibe: Spin a record from our curated vinyl collection, swap a novel from our "Take a Book, Leave a Book" little library, and melt into the recliners around the fireplace.
- The Outdoors: Once you have conquered the mountain, grab a drink and take in the wooded view on the oversized covered deck. In the afternoons, take a nap on the daybed swing or have a cookout on the grilling deck. In the evenings, climb into the hot tub or roast marshmallows around the fire pit.
- The Location: Nestled exactly 15 minutes between Bryson City and Sylva, this Whittier cabin gets you to great attractions including the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Harrah's Cherokee Casino, and the Blue Ridge Parkway in half an hour or less.
The "No BS" Promise
Taking care of people runs in our veins. When you arrive, you won't find a single roll of cheap toilet paper or a bare kitchen. We fully stock our cabin with quality amenities, premium coffee and tea, and all the essentials you need so you don't have to spend your vacation constantly running to the grocery store. Conquer the mountain, drop your bags, and let us take care of the rest.
- Relax in one of our three bedrooms:
- The Dreams Suite: Private upstairs bedroom with Queen Bed and Ensuite Bathroom
- The Sunday Suite: Downstairs Bedroom with King Bed, Sleeper Chaise and Ensuite Bathroom
- The Happy Little Accidents Room: Downstairs Bedroom with XL Twin Over Queen Bunk Bed, Sleep Chaise (no instant bathroom access for this room)
- Recharge with your best friend AKA No Pet Fees. A lot of cabins claim to be pet-friendly, but here we believe your dog deserves to recharge with you. We welcome up to TWO dogs for free and we leave out a Dog Welcome Kit with food and water bowls, a jar of treats, waste bags (with a reserved outdoor waste bin), dedicated muddy paw wipes, and a little souvenir toy they can take home with them.
- Reconnect with your loved ones or yourself by enjoying our curated space, designed to help you put the phone down and engage in the present moment. Gather around the sizable indoor and outdoor dining tables, play a game from our collection, or curl up by the fire* after a day of exploring.

Hi there! We are so thrilled you found your way to our mountain retreat. Before you pack your bags and head up the mountain, we wanted to introduce ourselves and share the heart behind The ReUp Retreat.
The Realtor (Morgan) and The Karaoke Host (Tim)
While our careers might sound completely different, we share the same values which is taking care of people and making them feel at home.
The Story of The ReUp Retreat
Morgan has always dreamed of being a B&B host, even before she became a Realtor and since their first vacation together, Morgan and Tim have always wanted a getaway to call their own and share with others. The retreat was discovered as a currently running short term rental with tons of potential but needed the heart injected back into the space. We bought The ReUp Retreat in spring of 2026 and are constantly working on making it our second home and yours.
Our Hosting Philosophy
Because the cabin is our personal haven, we refuse to treat it like a standard vacation rental. We host as if we are opening the doors to old friends. We spend a lot of time making sure the cabin is deeply cared for and filled with the details that exceed expectations. We want you to feel completely at home the moment you walk inside.
We built this space to relax, recharge, and reconnect. Now, we can't wait to share it with you.
